Warped Tour wrap up commentary with pictures and videos (both of which are crappy)
Warped Tour!

My experience can be summed up in two words: dirty dirtiness (okay, I guess that's more or less one word but anyways). This post and its included pictures and videos will demonstrate this theme throughout.
Holy gridlock, batman. Thank you Warped Tour being scheduled on a long weekend! Damn all the cottage folk for extending a simple 1hr~ish ride to Barrie to like 128762326 hours!! Thus causing me to miss some of my bands!!
The big inflatable schedule. Unfortunately, we got there at around 2 so I missed the bands I most wanted to see (Mae and Motion City Soundtrack...and to a lesser extent, Amber Pacific, Relient K, Hawthorne Heights, and Thrice). Also, whoever wrote out the schedule for the Smart Punk stage (on the left of the Hurley stage) spelt Emery wrong.
Mest performing. I used to really like them. I was also in an area where a sudden mosh pit erupted...
Atreyu performing. This is where I was really squished and my personal space severely violated. And other people sweating all over me. Eww. I also breathed in a heck of a lot of that dust (which resulted from the moshing/stomping around the dirt on the ground).
Matchbook Romance performing. I really love them but we had to leave during their last song ("Greatest Fall of All Time") to get to the next stage.
Here's a video of them performing "My Eyes Burn"
Reggie and the Full Effect performing.
Bedouin Soundclash performing. The lead singer is quite hot, from where I was standing (and I verified this fact when I went to their website).
Download Bedouin Soundclash's When The Night Feels My Song
Now here is where all the pictures are total shit (more so than the previous ones) because of ALL THE EXCESSIVE FLYING DUST/DIRT everywhere!!
I probably shouldn't even post these but eh...
Senses Fail performing. You majorly have to squint to see wtf is happening in these pictures.
Here are some videos:
Senses Fail performing Buried a Lie part 1 and part 2. And the beginning part of "Bite to Break Skin". Check out the major dust/dirt action!
My Chemical Romance performing. This was when the dust in the air made it REALLY hard to see the stage. Plus, I was standing behind a guy dressed up as a giant penis for awhile (until I moved over) so my view was pretty shitty.
Here's a short-ish video of the end part of "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)" (totally horrific camera work on this one).
Now let me tell you about the extent of dirtiness I was referring to. All that flying dirt everywhere (due to all the moshing) was flying all over the place. It was so bad that the white Straylight Run tee I was wearing turned a lightish brown color, or whatever, because it wasn't really white anymore. My jeans were so dirty that I could flick it and a cloud of dust/dirt would come out. And my shoes, well, they were pretty dirty to begin with but they were way more dirty afterwards. Plus, the grossest thing was that the dirt landed on your face/arms/whole body and attached because of the sweat. So when I wiped my face/arms, a layer of dirt would be left on the thing I used to wipe it. Also gross was that the dust/dirt got into our throats and lungs and mucus so there would be coughing fits and black-hued mucus! EWW! I've never been and felt so dirty/gross in my life -- and I thought camping was bad.
Other random commentary:
And speaking of free, I have a bunch of Funeral for a Friend stickers. If anyone wants some, let me know. However, you'd probably have to pay postage because I'm poor as fuck (that is, unless I know you in real life or will see you in person, or something)
